The result was a look that would’ve caught Peter Jackson’s eye, with a truly magical and mysterious vibe, reminiscent of J.R.R Tolkien's Lord of the Rings Universe. MMP took on a serious challenge while filming the promotional video for TimberPro’s new TF forwarder vehicle.
MMP took on a serious challenge while filming the promotional video for TimberPro’s new TF forwarder vehicle. With only a few brief hours in a snowy location, the team was able to collect every shot needed to piece together a dynamic video that highlighted the power and capability of this industry leading machine. Being one of the top-tier vehicles in the forestry industry, the promotional package required an emphatic style that was capable of pulling the interest of potential customers. MMP was able to bring the video to life by shooting the forwarder in-action, in the field, as well as capturing its range of motion and control functionality in a way that was informative and visually compelling.

TimberPro was in need of a video package to accentuate their brand and put new energy into promotional material. MMP jumped on the project with well placed shots of the facility and surrounding work area that captured TimberPro in action.

The diverse collection of equipment allowed for some stellar shots that took advantage of the different geometric and color shifts from machine to machine. After doing some magic in post, and creating an original TimberPro specific color grade, the team used fast paced edits to make the viewer feel like they were on sight moving quickly through the scene. The shoot was a great example of how a keen eye can pull artistic, on-brand shots from unassuming locations and subjects.

MMP had the privilege of shooting Grapes For Grads hosted by the Laguna Beach Rotary Club this past April.

The team was able to successfully build a dynamic series of shots that showcased the event and the interaction of attendees and vendors. The proceeds of Grapes for Grads goes to scholarships for Laguna Beach High School students and those attending Laguna College of Art and Design. MMP was honored to be able to use the team’s tools and talents to display this altruistic event in a way that was unique to our own film aesthetic.

The entire MMP team are longstanding FKJ fans, so naturally the opportunity to do an in-house shoot of the talented multi-instrumentalist was a must.

Utilizing our Red Weapon camera and working in tandem with Adam Rowell resulted in a spectacular shoot that allows FKJ fans to connect with him in an intimate way. The upcoming piece by Civilian Magazine is sure to turn heads and show FKJ fans a new side of the talented musician’s aesthetic. The team looks forward to getting a chance to work with FKJ again and is excited to continue to utilize the MMP live concept to capture other incredible artists.

After receiving some of the most notable performance acoustics, including the 522ce and 610e, the team shot a series that captured every detail of the hand-built guitars in pristine detail. Incoming artists performing in the MMP live sessions get the privilege of using Taylor’s guitars and have been known to offer money on the spot to take them home. After getting a chance to play with some of these toys and capture them on film, we are even more excited to get to continue our work with Taylor Guitars.

MMP Undertakes Documentary on “RustGaze” Movement in Lima, Ohio
MMP had made a connection with Omar Zehery of the hit band Hit the Lights in the past, and was compelled by an idea to do a documentary on the “RustGaze” movement occurring in Lima Ohio.
MMP had made a connection with Omar Zehery of the hit band Hit the Lights in the past, and was compelled by an idea to do a documentary on the “RustGaze” movement occurring in Lima Ohio. The movement has been happening in conjunction with the popularity of Zehery’s studio, Legacy Sounds, located in Lima. The movement, led by Zehery and Legacy Sound, aims to capture the soul of the musicians in the area and unite the community in order to nurture the growth of a diverse array of bands and individuals. The documentary is a look at this movement and is going to capture the struggles and successes of the studio and its occupants in its most raw form. MMP is strategically crafting this work in a way that will tell the story both honestly and excellently and looks forward to announcing an upcoming release date.

The team got to cover every inch of the 830 with high res camera work that highlighted all of the machine’s best features. The use of constant smooth movements, and well placed voice over work imparted an attention grabbing sense of style to this project. MMP looks forward to continuing to shoot material for TimberPro as they continue to grow and innovate in their industry.
